Business Loan Refinance Calculator

This business loan refinance calculator compares simple estimated costs using the balance, rates, remaining terms and fees you enter. It is not a quote or recommendation and does not model compounding, daily balances, payout penalties, progressive repayments, taxes or every legal and settlement cost. Written lender figures remain authoritative.

Compare simple entered refinancing costs

Use current written figures where available. The calculator applies simple interest only.

Estimated existing remaining cost: $14,000

Estimated replacement finance cost: $17,000

Estimated additional cost: $3,000

Educational comparison only. Excludes compounding, changing balances, repayments, payout or break costs unless entered, taxes and lender-specific calculations.

What the comparison calculates

The calculator applies simple annual interest to the entered balance for each entered term, then adds the fees entered for that scenario. It compares estimated finance cost rather than presenting an approval, repayment schedule, annual percentage rate or lender-specific calculation.

Use current payout information

An existing loan balance may differ from the amount required to refinance after accrued interest, discharge, break, legal or settlement costs. Obtain a current payout figure and written replacement-loan terms before making a decision.

A lower rate may not mean lower cost

The replacement facility can have a lower annual rate but a longer term or higher fees. Compare estimated total cost, cash-flow timing, security, guarantees, default consequences, early repayment conditions and the commercial benefit of refinancing.

Consider the exit strategy

If the replacement is short-term secured finance, identify how it will be repaid and what happens if the refinance, sale, settlement or other expected cash event is delayed. Extension and default costs can materially change the comparison.

Check security and priority changes

A refinance can require payouts, mortgage or caveat discharges, new security registration and coordination between lenders or solicitors. The calculator does not assess whether those steps are possible or what they will cost.

Obtain transaction-specific advice

Use the estimate to prepare questions for the lender and advisers. Only written payout figures, an approved offer and the final loan documents can confirm actual pricing, obligations and settlement requirements for the transaction.
